Hello

I thought I would get myself a blog, as Virginia enjoys it so much and Jude awarded me a blog award so thought I should do something to deserve it. Still not entirely sure if i will have anything of interest to write but I'll let you lot be the judge of that! Well it's mother's day and my lovely daughter bought me a card some flowers and a teddy. The card has a badge on that I am at this very moment wearing it makes me look very special but my daughter is happy so that's the main thing!
I am wondering about how to fit more things into my day there doesn't seem to be enough hours in a day. Virginia and my mum have done loads of art journalling and I don't seem to have done any. I recently have got a boyfriend and so I have dramatically less time than I used to have.
So now I have had a little waffle i'm going, but will be back xxx

    Hello Melanie - for some unfathomable reason I simply couldn't find out why your posts didn't have a comments box at the bottom so I've been and doctored your post (hope you don't mind) which means I can now post to it. Now in essence it would seem you had a poo day but tell us about the funny thing that happened or about those pirates that you saw there must be some little glimmer of Melanie world in your day that would keep us all highly entertained!

    Hi Mel where is long awaited for blog I am starved of any pure wit if you dont blog soon it will die. you have to feed it and nurture it or it will pass away and then we will have to have a funeral for it . And they are not much fun and I would have to sing songs for it and you know I cant sing so just get on with it or I might have to feed yours as well as my own

Anyone who gets easily upset don't read this blog it's a little depressing, apologies!

Well I received my decree absolute through the post, I knew it was coming, I knew that it was well over due to happen but when I read that letter I'll be honest first thing I did was cry. I told myself to stop being silly I told everyone it was just because I knew my daughter would feel emotional about it. However, I was also a little sad for myself. The worse thing is at the end you can't help but look at the beginning. He was my first boyfriend, he was my best friend and we were very happy, sometimes, but often we weren't we were so young and trying so hard. But financially we were always counting the pennie's and there were never enough and so rather than working together we started to resent each other.
